David Carey is the Vice President of Design, Construction, and Maintenance at Schnuck Markets Inc., where he leads a team of designers, project managers, and maintenance technicians. The team is responsible for developing prototypes, standards, and fixture plans utilized in the development of new stores, remodels and special projects across the organization, in addition to maintaining Schnucks current store formats.

With over 30 years of experience working for multiple retail and consulting organizations, including Walmart and Best Buy, David has developed a passion for reviewing and improving development processes as well as innovating with new retail formats.

David earned his Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design.
