Matt Marcotte is the founder and principal at M2 Collaborative, an executive leadership and high performance consultancy, bringing 34 years of experience in consumer retail and technology to this role. Most recently, Mr. Marcotte was SVP, Head of Global Industry Advisors for Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Automotive and Energy at Salesforce. Prior roles include Chief Operating Officer at Bergdorf Goodman, leading the transformation and modernization of the iconic brand’s employee and customer experience and Global Executive Vice President of Direct to Consumer at Tory Burch, where he built the strategy for exponential growth of physical and digital commerce. Earlier in his career, he was head of the North America retail organization at Apple, scaling the technology company’s culture and sales during explosive growth. Prior to Apple, Mr. Marcotte held various senior leadership positions at Gap and spent his last two years there spearheading a reinvention of the brand in every aspect of retail from store design to merchandising strategy, marketing approach to service proposition and infrastructure. He started his career as a merchant at May Co.
