Hector Medina leads Information Technology, Strategic planning and Analytics at Macy’s.

He is responsible for transforming and executing, Project Delivery and Business Process technology capability at Macy’s, partnering with IT Share Services, Store Planning, Visual Merchandising , Store Operations and Finance . His team is also accountable for the on-going development, implementation, and maintenance of emerging technologies for Store Planning, Store Design, Construction, Architecture, Real State and Engineering organizations.

With over 23 years of extensive, global expertise in leading business technology and supply chain organizations in several countries. Prior to his current role, Hector spend 19 years at Procter & Gamble, in various global leadership positions, in Business Technology and Supply Chain in 3 different countries and 4 ½ years at Luxottica as Sr. Director Global Information Technology .

A native of Mexico, Hector holds a BS degree in Biochemical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey and MBA from UoP.

Mr Medina was named in the top 100 most influential and notable Hispanic Professionals in the Information Technology Industry in 2015 by Hispanic IT Executive Council .

From a community involvement standpoint, Hector worked with several non-profit organizations. He is a founding board member of the Cincinnati chapter for the National Society of Hispanics MBA, the former Vice-president of Corporate Relations at LULAC Cincinnati chapter, and IT Advisory board member of the University of Cincinnati.
